HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE !

This week saw the children singing their hearts out to a roomful of parents. We were extremely impressed with their perfomance - especially those who have never joined in during practice sessions, but suddenly became budding opera singers on the day! Everyone seemed to enjoy the mince pies and coffee afterwards.

Xmas party tomorrow (Friday) - starts 12 noon - dont forget your plateful of food...

Christmas Preparations

On our visit to the Christmas tree festival, all the children from towerview joined the little ones at Broadway playschool for a Christmas picnic. It was lovely to see them all together. We are all busy making decorations and pictures for the festivities, so you may find glitter in all sorts of places!!!

Did I mention vests?

I know I said coats in the last blog, but vests and jumpers are also essential so the children can access the full curriculum, inside and out.
This week has seen many of the boys playing with the guttering and cars. They have been observing how lifting one end makes the cars go faster...or not. They are ranking the cars by speed. "This one's the best Jude!!!"
We all walked down to the Christmas Tree Festival at the URC where we each child got a chance to hang their own decoration. The tree looks fantastic but a bit one sided. I was very proud of the way they walked down, all holding on to the ribbon, and of the way they behaved in the church. Well done!!!

Appropriate clothing!

The weather is getting colder and wetter. Please remember to send your child with coats and hats. Thank you.
