The children really enjoyed going on a walk to find some
conkers - although not many were left! It was
lovely to go out collecting and then sorting them into big –small and very
tiny!! and playing with them. We then thought of ways to use them- including rolling
them down guttering and painting with them.
We also painted leaves and made prints form them – which look really good.
They really enjoyed mixing mud and water and then making
welly mud prints at Forest school. In the afternoon this activity was extended to
use the children’s feet - " it's squishy" was one of the reactions heard.
It was great to see some of children playing together all day, some have
made lovely connections and are sharing some great communication – real friendships in the making!
Remember to bring in some photos for our CLOCK display !
