The bonfire
cake was amazing! everyone had a go at breaking up the chocolate and stirring
in the krispies – the mix was then poured over the mould and apricot bits and
bits of red liquorice were added so we had fire. Then at Forest School on November the 5th -
we lit sparklers on the cake to celebrate bonfire night.
Firework
pictures were being made – by splatting tea bags over stencils and the children
have learnt about fire – hot and how to be safe during the week
They also
did two very good fire drills!
The Diwali
lamps the children have made from clay are now drying and we will be painting
them next week – they do look lovely – we had a power point of the story of
Rama and Sita on show so the children could see the story of Diwali -The
Festival of Lights.
At Broadway
Playschool -the 2-3 year old children have made
some really beautiful firework pictures. We have been practising "Mr. Tongue"
and doing really well
A few of the
children were engaged in a lovely moment, where they were sharing their family
pictures and showing each other their families -using the Home -Playschool photo albums.
