At Towerview Playschool the
children have been observed enjoying the
outdoors this week, this has included building walls with foam blocks, playing
super hero's outside, throwing and catching balls. Some of the Children have been using paint brushes and rollers with
water to make train tracks and roads during role play.
They have also been busy making
sequences with the coloured pegs. They have followed patterns and created their
own. Counting and recognizing colours have also formed part of their learning
here.
On Friday, at forest school,
some of the children helped to finish the xylophone by using rope to tie the
logs together. Others made wind catchers – an idea from Jilly, a guest
professional, who has been working with the children over the last month.
Waterproofs and wellies on, the little ones at
Broadway Playschool enjoyed being in the rain again this week.
