The children enjoyed the Pumpkin this
week. They enjoyed scooping out the
pumpkin for us to make soup. They helped blend the soup using a hand blender- lots of excitement there.
All the children who were in on Tuesday and Wednesday got to try the soup, some loved it; others not so keen but good to see them all try.
We toasted the seeds too with a little olive oil and pinch of salt the children and staff had these at snack time yummy.

We had a lot of the children enjoying doing drawings
of the pumpkin this week.
At Broadway Playschool we also carved a
pumpkin and felt the slimey seeds ! We have introduced ‘Goldilocks and the
Three Bears’ story sack to the little ones and they are responding to it with
great enthusiasm. Hopefully next half term we will make our own porridge to try
at snack time and it won't be 'too hot' or 'too sweet' but 'just right'!
